On May 2nd, Di students were proud to shoot the 2011 DigiCom Student and Teacher Film Festival. Ten students worked the event shooting the stage as well as paparazzi style portraits of winners and attendees.
This was one of the few events I volunteered at and I must say, I actually had a pretty good time doing it. From talking to public figures to taking pictures, it was a good experience and it gave me a little more insight and attention to detail when taking portrait pictures of someone else. And congratulations to everyone in the academy who earned an award at the festival.
Out of all the events that I have volunteered at, this one was the best. It was a learning experience for me because I got to take professional photos of anyone who wanted to at the Digicom. Yes, I really enjoyed this event and I hope that I get to this in the future.
I wish i had volunteered for this even but unfortunately couldn't make it. Its cool to see that some of my peers won award, got to experience taking photos and talk to public figures in our valley.
I did not volunteer for this event, but I did go to support my classmates and friends. This was the first time I attended DigiCom and I thought that the videos were showcased really well. It was really enjoyed myself and I'm glad that I attended.
Digicom was fun to watch because I liked seeing what other schools create. Also, I had fun taking pictures of all the participants and the entire show.
Digicom was an amazing experience both years I have attended. All the students in DATA that earn a reward for all there hard work like lupita and Christian deserved it congratulations.
From what i heard Digicom was a a very exciting event for are data students. It is great to hear that they had received awards. I regret not being able to attend this amazing event.
I did not participate in this but looked like many of the data students who did participate had a lot of fun. I think it's a good experience because some of them got awards for their work.
I am so proud of the DATA members that made it to Digicom and succeeded. We have students with true potential in their grasps. We are making our mark on the World and hopefully next year one of my pictures will make it to Digicom.
