Apple Classrooms of Tomorrow- Today (ACOT2)

DATA Digital Imaging teacher Matt Cauthron was one of fifteen
 Distinguished Educators to work on the ACOT2 curriculum development project this summer in Cupertino, California. The challenge based learning curriculum is scheduled to launch via the Apple Learning Interchange early this fall. For more information visit ACOT2.

Advertising Federation of the Desert Awards

Three Digital Arts Technology Academy students from Cathedral City High School received $7,500 of scholarship money from the Advertising Federation of the Desert Wednesday, June 25, 2008 at the ADFED summer meeting in Rancho Mirage.

CCHS juniors Cindy Gastelum and Nailah Johnson each won $3,000 for their video public service announcement about sexually transmitted diseases. CCHS 2008 graduate Denisse Gonzales, who will be attending U.C. Santa Cruz next year, won $1,500 for her documentary "Let's Talk Culture."
