DATA Di students collaborated with 19 other schools from 12 states in four countries to create the first book in the Student Creative series. 100% of the book's proceeds will go towards bringing technology to the Jacaranda School in Malawi.

One of my light painting photos was included in this book which is really cool because people actually buy this book and will see my name and photo. I like the fact that my work is actually being published for people to see!
ReplyDeleteI shot some light painting images for this. Even though my photos were not published, I had a lot of fun with it. It is amazing what you can do with a camera and a light.
ReplyDeleteThis is really cool. It is a very invaluable tool to compare and contrast your work with others. And it's just nice to see what other people ideas are.
ReplyDeleteI wish I could have been apart of this project. I would like to do this project next year because I wanted to do it this year but i was unable to find the time to find a nice location.
ReplyDeleteIt's amazing how many different things you can do with "painting with light." A lot of really creative things came out of this project. I'm definitely going to look into this. Maybe I will participate in something similar next year.

ReplyDeleteWhat i've seen in this digital book has really blown my mind. The things people can do with a camera is pretty amazing. I feel really bad for not participating in this event, but i have seen others enjoy it. Really a piece of art to be appreciated.

ReplyDeleteLight painting is a really fun project to do, i experimented it a few weeks ago but unfortunately it did not go well. But these people did a really good job.
