DATA digital imaging junior Victor Gonzalez's image,
Potential Beauty (above), was selected to be shown among professionals from across the country in the 1st annual
Earth Through a Lens photography exhibit. This exhibit, sponsored by the
Palm Springs Sustainability Commission, will be displayed in store fronts along Palm Canyon Drive from April 1 - 30, 2010 as part of the
40th anniversary of Earth Day.
"I was trying to find the potential beauty of the desert behind the Dream Homes project of Cathedral City. I live in this neighborhood and see each day how people neglect it and leave their garbage for others to endure".
