For three days during the 2011 Spring Break, 20 plus DATA Di students braved the hot sun to shoot Where Art is Happening at the Indian Wells Arts Festival. As part of this photography challenge in collaboration with Diane Funk Enterprises, Inc., students were also given the opportunity to upload their best imagery to the IWAF website to be judged by a group of professionals. This gave students a direct look into the process of how professional artists submit their work for festival consideration.
