DATA Di Assists Apple at CUE 2011

From March 17th -19th, nineteen DATA Di students assisted Apple Education at the 2011 Computer Using Educators conference in Palm Springs, California.

During the three day conference, students assisted in the set up of the mobile lab and lent a hand with presentations and hands-on workshops from Apple Distinguished Educators.

"I would like to express my thanks to you and your students who assisted us for four days at CUE. They were such a pleasure to work with and we couldn't have managed all of the equipment set-up and hands-on support without them!"
-Cheryl Lee Apple Inc. • Development Executive

"The students provide us with the much needed assistance in setting up and tearing down the hands on lab as well as for their presence at both seminar rooms.  Every year we have an abundance of attendees attend our sessions and the task of managing the crowds is always a tricky matter and the students were able to handle it all wonderfully.  We greatly appreciate all the help during the conference!"

  2. The Apple CUE 2011 was an interesting experience, I personally enjoyed working it and setting up for it. I learned about many Apple products that i had no idea about. I got to witness sessions of people that were presenting. I encourage anyone who wants to get to know more about the Apple productions to attend or work the next Apple CUE.

  3. Apple Cue was a real eye opener, it showed me how much planning and preparing it takes to set up a lab. I had fun laying down the wires and setting up every computer to the network. It was always pretty fun getting to mess around with the Ipads.

  4. The Apple CUE was a very fun experience, I learned how to set up wires clean computers and how to take orders from other people. The CUE gave me a little taste in what you should expect when you go out and get a job. The CUE is also an amazing program that shows students how to use technology for good.

  7. The Apple CUE was a learning experience, we had to setup the wiring and laptops. At first it was really confusing and frustrating, but we got through and finished it. It was really fun though because we had the chance to use the Ipads.
