- DATA launches TheProwler.us
- The online magazine for CCHS merges art with information and print with video to create a literacy project that spans the state standards of visual arts, language arts, and technology. Advanced photography students provide the photos and graphics while broadcast journalism students provide the editorial copy and video for a blend of school community news and features wrapped in a visually stunning product of higher order thinking skills.
- DATA receives a Demonstration Grant from the California Department of Education for the THIRD year.
- DATA Teachers Matt Cauthron and Matt Hamilton presented this year at the California League of High Schools conference in Monterey, the Computer Using Educators conference in Palm Springs, and the California Partnership Academy conference in San Diego.
- Principal Guillermo Chavez presented CCHS and the DATA program at the 40th Annual Congress of Education in Mexico City. Wesley Whiteside's animation, Kangaroo Rat, was shown to attendees.

- Works by Jesse Williams, Danielle Parra, and Khoa Nguyen are accepted into the permanent collection at Safe House of the Desert.
- Motion arts showcase at P.S. Art Museum
- By special invitation from the Palm Springs Art Museum, digital animation students created a special motion arts display for the annual Fine Arts Creativity show.
